I know what it feels like to struggle with food. As a teen, I tried to “eat healthy” by cutting calories and following all the rules—but it left me stressed and unsatisfied. Even later, as a dietitian, I leaned on packaged diet foods, thinking they were the best choice. It wasn’t until I started working with local farmers that everything clicked.
