How I Found Real Nourishment
I’ve always loved food, but my relationship with it hasn’t always been healthy. As a teenager, I tried to manage my weight by counting calories and cutting fat. It “worked,” but it left me feeling deprived and disconnected from real health. Years later, through studying nutrition and working with farmers, I discovered that food isn’t just about calories—it’s about nourishment, quality, and how it makes you feel.
That realization changed everything. Shopping at farmers markets, cooking with fresh ingredients, and learning where my food comes from transformed my health and gave me joy in the kitchen. I know what it’s like to feel confused and stuck around food—and how freeing it feels when cooking becomes simple and nourishing. That’s why I started The Rooted Kitchen: to help other women feel confident, energized, and at home with real, whole food.

I know firsthand how hard it can be to juggle work, home life, and healthy eating. For years, I worked a job that had me traveling often, and the last thing I wanted to do when I got home was cook. We also explore mindful nourishment, slowing down to enjoy food, listen to your body, and create habits that feel good instead of restrictive. And because food is only one piece of the puzzle, we weave in joyful movement—simple, energizing activities that fit your life and keep you feeling your best. Every step of the way, we cook together, set realistic goals together, and I show you how to put it all into practice. You’ll always have accountability, encouragement, and tools designed for real life.
